The Home of Cold Brew Coffee

What is Cold Brew?

How is it made?

Our cold brew coffee concentrate is a highly concentrated form of cold brew coffee that is made by steeping speciality coffee grounds in cold water for an extended period of time, typically 12-24 hours.

We use cold, filtered water to brew which results in a coffee that is less acidic, smoother and has a more mellow flavor.

Cold brew coffee concentrate can be diluted with water or milk to your desired strength and enjoyed as a regular iced coffee, or it can be used as a base for making iced coffee drinks, coffee cocktails, and even baked goods.

Why cold brew?

There are several benefits to cold brew coffee compared to regular hot brewed coffee:

Cold brew coffee is less acidic: Because the coffee beans are brewed using cold water, rather than hot water, cold brew coffee is less acidic than regular hot brewed coffee. This can be beneficial for people who are sensitive to acid or who experience acid reflux.

Cold brew coffee has a smoother, more mellow flavor: The brewing process for cold brew coffee results in a smoother, less bitter flavor than hot brewed coffee. This can make it more enjoyable for people who find hot brewed coffee too strong or bitter.

Cold brew coffee is easier on the digestive system: The lower acidity of cold brew coffee can be easier on the digestive system and may be less likely to cause stomach upset.

Cold brew coffee can be made in advance: Because cold brew coffee is made using cold water, it can be made in advance and stored in the refrigerator for later use. This is convenient for people who want to have coffee ready to go in the morning.

Cold brew coffee has a longer shelf life: Cold brew coffee concentrate can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks, whereas hot brewed coffee begins to lose its flavor and quality after just a few hours.

Overall, cold brew coffee offers a number of benefits over regular hot brewed coffee, including a smoother, less acidic flavor and the convenience of being able to be made in advance.
